Recently at the UTIA campus, Dr. Maha Krishnamurthy, UTRF Assistant Vice President of Licensing, led a discussion and question/answer session about IP and compliance at the University of Tennessee. She covered topics including understanding tangible and intangible intellectual property (IP) and utilizing different types of agreements that involve IP. Participants were given the opportunity to apply this information by walking through several case studies which explored different scenarios involving IP and compliance. Dr. Krishnamurthy, UTRF Senior Staff Attorney, Mary Ann Russell, J.D., UT Office of the General Counsel, Frank Lancaster, J.D., OSP Director, Debbie Hampstead and OSP Assistant Director & Compliance Officer, Jane Burns answered questions from UT staff and faculty in attendance.

For more information about IP and compliance at the University of Tennessee, please contact UTRF or the Office of Sponsored Programs.
