Emma Vetland is an assistant technology manager in the UT Research Foundation’s Knoxville office, focusing on technologies developed from inventors at the UT Space Institute, College of Nursing, and other STEM-based departments.
Prior to joining UTRF, Emma was a Technology Project Manager for GKN Aerospace where she developed metal aerostructure manufacturing processes in conjunction with ORNL’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility such as laser wire metal deposition (LMD-w) of Ti-6Al-4V. Emma has a B.S. in Material Science and Engineering from Penn State University.
