Dr. Delira Robbins is a licensing assistant in the Memphis office responsible for the evaluation and commercialization of intellectual property developed at the UT Health Science Center. Prior to joining UTRF, she was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemical Biology & Therapeutics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where her research focused on the involvement of novel protein-protein interactions in chemoresistance. She was also an intern in St. Jude’s Office of Technology Licensing. During her graduate studies, her research focused on chemoprevention using an antioxidant approach during early stage skin carcinogenesis. Delira holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Therapeutics from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport.
