New Inventions and Discoveries

Technology Disclosure Form (PDF)
This is the basic form for submitting an invention to UTRF. You should fill out Parts 1-7, have your chair and dean sign parts 8 and 9, and then return the form to Debbie Smith in the Office of Research Administration (910 Madison, Suite 823).

UTRF fills a vital role in protecting and advancing the intellectual contributions of the faculty and staff at UT. Thanks to their expertise and proactive commitment to researchers, I was able to leave the pesky work of protecting and promoting my invention in their hands so I could get back to the joy and adventure of inventing.
