America Invents Act Explained
President Obama signed the Leahy-Smith America Invents Act (AIA) on Sept. 16, 2011, setting into law the most momentous changes to the U.S. patent system since 1952. AIA changes the U.S. patent system from a “first to invent” system to a “first to file” system, which more closely aligns the U.S. laws with international laws. (read more)
UT Technology To Help Detect Deadly Disease
