Ken Woody is the Founder and President of Innova Memphis. Innova has a family of venture capital funds focused on MedTech, Logistics, and AgTech companies in Tennessee and Rural AgTech companies across the US.
Innova has invested in over 140 distinct companies and has been recognized multiple times by Crunchbase, Pitchbook, and AgFunder as a top 10 most active AgTech investor, by CB Insights as the most active investor in TN, by Crunchbase as a top 10 VC firm investing in Black and Latinx founders.
Before founding Innova in 2007, he was a Corporate Executive for General Electric, Johnson and Johnson, and Smith and Nephew Orthopedics. Ken served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Infantry.
