Mojdeh Dehghan

Professor and Associate Dean of Student Affairs, Admissions and Faculty Affairs; Professor, College of Dentistry, Department of General Dentistry, UT Health Science Center

Dr. Dehghan, DDS, previously served as the Chair of the Department of General Dentistry and has over 25 years of private practice and more than two decades of academic experience. Dr. Dehghan is a 2021 Fellow of the American Dental Education Association’s Leadership Institute (ADEA) and a member of the University of Tennessee Executive Leadership Institute, class of 2020. She has received several national research and teaching awards including the AAWD Proctor and Gamble/ Gillette Hayden Memorial Foundation Research Award and Grant, the American Dental Association Council of Dental Education and Licensure Scholarship and Award, and the 2021, 2018 and 2017 University of Tennessee Research Foundation Maturation Fund. She has been awarded two United States patents, and one provisional patent pending.
