
As UTRF’s marketing and communications coordinator, Rachel develops and implements strategic marketing and communications initiatives that advance the foundation’s mission of commercializing UT innovations, fostering an entrepreneurial culture, supporting economic development, and promoting research and education that benefits Tennessee and beyond.
She leads content creation, brand management, digital communications, media relations, and event promotion for both UTRF and UT Ventures, helping connect researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry partners throughout the innovation ecosystem.
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration in 2024 and a Master of Science in Communication and Information with a concentration in Advertising and Public Relations in 2026 from UT Knoxville. She also earned a Research Data Management Graduate Certificate during her graduate studies.
Before joining UTRF full time, Rachel served as a communications intern with the foundation and as a public relations intern with the UT System Division of Communications and Marketing.
