Attend this workshop to get in-depth exposure to federal grant funding opportunities and learn of resources specifically available to Tennesseans.

Overview

Translating academic research into viable commercial products can have tremendous impact on the scientific community. LaunchTN offers resources for entrepreneurial researchers to advance their commercialization efforts.

» SBIR/STTR Funding enables small businesses to explore technological potential and provides the incentive to profit from its commercialization.

» The Networks program pairs life science and energy mentors with promising new companies and offers unique access to industry-specific research assets, subjectmatter experts and Launch Tennessee’s growth-stage programming.

» Microgrants provide up to $6,000 for grant-writing assistance to Tennesseebased early-stage companies applying for an SBIR/STTR Phase I, Phase II or Fast-Track award.

» SBIR/STTR Matching Fund provides non-dilutive funding to Tennessee-based companies upon their successful federal grant award.
