Did you know that UT employees who invent, discover or create (as part of their employment) are obligated by UT policy to disclose the results to the university (click here for policy details)? So how do you do that?
Start by filling out an invention disclosure form and submitting it to your Office of Research. There are two forms, each with a different purpose:
- Invention Disclosure, for materials or devices, OR
- Creation Disclosure, for software or other works of authorship
