Additionally, Knoxville is in a designated HUBZone,
which is a program of the Small Business Administration
designed to promote economic development and
employment growth in historically underutilized
business areas. As a result, most businesses at the
UTRF Technology Business Center will have greater
access to federal contracting opportunities.
